I suspect there will be a number of people who don't like it, as it's technically flawed on several levels, but something just draws me back to it. I should note that no editing was done except a slight bit of color correction (though a slight blue cast is left) and cropping. The wings really looked that way - I take no credit for this. The colors were just great in this photo as it was taken in the "golden hours" and the weather was just gorgeous. This was taken at sunset, just before the sun completely disappeared behind the horizon. One of the few times I needed abdolutely no adjustments to the image except some slight sharpening and color levels (no cropping or clean-up).
