EyeFetch reserves the right to remove, edit or move publicly posted content at any time. In posting public content you are agreeing to the EyeFetch Terms of Use and Etiquette Policy laid out below. If you do not agree to these rules, do not post any material!

FORUM TOPICS

Please start forum threads within the appropriate forum sections, and keep posts relevant to the original topic of the thread. We encourage interactivity and we allow comments to be either positive or negative in nature providing that they remain constructive and promote a worthwhile dialogue. Please use common sense when posting to avoid confusion. Threads which are misplaced, which contain inappropriate subject matter, or which contain an undesirable number of insults or other violations of this etiquette policy may be moved to a different section, locked, partially edited or removed by the Administration.

POSTING BEHAVIOR

Please use standard size font when posting. All caps or large or small fonts or all bold or italic is not only hard to read, it's generally considered poor forum etiquette. For example, all caps is considered the equivalent of YELLING.

Foul language and rude behavior will not be tolerated!

Embrace diversity, and use common sense when posting. EyeFetch is a public, global and very diverse forum, and is frequented by people of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds.

HARASSMENT & ABUSE

Comments which are racist, bigoted, or which otherwise offensively target nationality, philosophy, religion, sexual preference or any comments which are solely intended to insult an individual or group of people will not be tolerated. Any hate propaganda, or promotion of hate propaganda, through comments, private messages, forum posts or submitted artwork will lead to an immediate ban.

Any private squabbles, personal arguments and disagreements, and other private issues must stay confined to private messages and emails. Bringing your private conflicts into the public forums or image comments is not acceptable and will be met with appriopriate responses by the Administrators.

If you feel that you have been the target of harassment or other severe behavior please notify the Administration through a private message or our Contact Us form. Note that the Administration will only directly intervene in cases which are considered severe and cannot be resolved through common sense and the tools made available to all members.

RATING COMPLAINTS

Public comments and complaints about image ratings must stay confined to the "Rating Rants" forum. Singling out of individual members for their (real or suspected) rating behavior in public forums will be treated as harassment. If you suspect a member of cheating, please contact the Administrators in private, who will investigate and take appropriate action. Taking matters "into your own hands" by organizing groups of people to systematically rate images a specific way, leave accusatory comments on images, or send harrasments is strictly prohibited.

TROLLING

Anyone deliberately antagonizing other forum users by posting "flame bait" type messages is not welcome and will be dealt with accordingly.

SPAMMING & FLODDING

Sending "spam" (large numbers of unsolicited messages) through our private messaging system will not be tolerated, and will result an immediate ban.

"Flooding" (placing large numbers of repeated posts) into the forums, image comments, or news section will result in action by the Administrators, up to and including a ban from the Site.

NUDITY & OFFENSIVE IMAGERY

EyeFetch is a Site dedicated to art and expression, and we strongly believe in freedom of expression, even if that means allowing imagery that may offend someone, and hence will not censor submitted artwork in general. However, submission of materials classified as pornographic or extremely offensive is prohibited. Please make sure to mark your images as "containing nudity" when uploading artworks showing nudity, or that could otherwise be considered offensive. Depictions of male or female genitalia are allowed, however graphical depictions of sexual intercourse, aroused male organs, or sexual bodily fluids will count as pornographic, and hence are prohibited.

If you prefer not to be exposed to nudity, we recommend checking the "Hide Nudity" flag in the preferences of your (or your child's) account.

UNDERAGE NUDITY
We cannot allow any nude works featuring individuals under the age of 18, fictional or real, nor may the works depict these individuals in a "sexually suggestive" or clearly provocative pose. This prohibition is for legal reasons based on the laws in the United States, which are the governing laws in regards to all submissions regardless your country of origin. Photographs which are suspected of depicting a minor in this manner may be removed from public view without notice as they come to the attention of the Administrators.

SOFTWARE PIRACY

We do not allow the posting of serial numbers, cracks, warez links or anything related to the piracy of software or other copyrighted material.

ENFORCEMENT

Enforcement of the Terms of Use and Etiquette Policy are solely the responsibility of the Site Administration, and up to their interpretation of aforementioned rules.

CHANGES IN ETIQUETTE POLICY

As new situations come to our attention we may find it necessary to alter or expand upon the policies stated here with little or no notification and any such changes may be enforced in full against previously existing submissions or behavior.

Alterations of policy may be announced through either the forums, private messages, by email or through other means of public announcements.
