West Sussex 11/6/2009 1:43:18 PM | There are currently 931,453 images here on Eyefetch and probably 500,000 or more have an EF Ranking. Many of these are several years old and remain hovering in there with a ranking even though many of the authors havnt visited the site in Months and in some cases, years. I would propose that admin consider knocking out from Eyerank all images that have been there for say two years or if the author hasnt logged on for more than say six Months. I have no idea how easy or difficult that would be to instigate but it would give active members a greater chance of seeing their images ranked higher. |

San Diego 11/6/2009 3:00:54 PM | I do too think that if your account has been stagnant for over a year then it should be deleted... Some people are very busy working and can't get on here often as they would like but if you have not logged on for over one year then I seriously dought that your are coming back....many have opened an account and never logged back on. I have seen accounts where some people have not been on for over 2 years.. I would be up for deleting these said accounts like that, if I had the capability.. M> |

Tri-Cities 11/6/2009 3:57:58 PM | This site is due for some tender loving care and updates that make it a leaner, cleaner application. But as long as the owner is out of picture (for what ever reason) we can dream but no actions are about to happen.
The owner needs to get an understudy and start making improvements little by little. Then they could get to the bigger issues, but maybe he just isn't making enough money on this project to to add a staff memeber ( except we know he must be getting money for all the ads).
I have been in software development (for 30 years) so I know getting someone trained to take over a system is work. But letting you business die on the vine from lack of improvemnets and fixes is a shame.
