Is EyeFetch Free?
Yes! A regular account on EyeFetch is completely FREE, and offers access to all of the most used features on the Site. We do, however, limit the daily number of images you can upload for free, and your access to a few advanced features. All the features and functions you are currently enjoying on the Site for free will always remain FREE! If you like what you see, and would like to upload more images per day and access the additional features, we offer Premium Accounts (Silver and Gold Membership) for a very low yearly price.
Benefits of an EyeFetch Account
Once you create an account on EyeFetch, you enable many new features that are only accessible to registered members.
First, and foremost, creating an account will create your own profile, which will become the central point for your activity on EyeFetch. Once you are a member, you can create galleries in your portfolio, upload images, and even create your own separate PhotoBlog, which will have it's own Internet address that you can give to family and friends. As a member you can also rate and comment on images, participate in our forums, send messages to other members through our internal messaging system, take part in our contests, add images to your own favorites, add other members to your friends list or watchlist so you can easily find new images they upload, join one of the many groups or create your own, get image recommendation, and much more.
Creating an EyeFetch Account
Creating an account on EyeFetch is really easy - just click the "register" link that shows in the top right, or follow this link. You will be asked to pick a username - that will be your "alias" on EyeFetch, and to give us a valid email address. We only allow one account per person, to avoid cheating in contests, and once you have chosen a username you can't change it, so think carefully what you want your username to be!
Deleting an EyeFetch Account
Because we allow our members to rate images and post in our forums, we cannot completely delete an account once you have created one (else the ratings and forum posts would not "belong" to anybody). However, if you really wanted to leave EyeFetch, you can just empty your account by deleting all images and information you have given. We are always looking for ways to improve EyeFetch, and are very proud to say that we always listen to our members, so before leaving, we would love for you to send us a message and let us know why you feel that EyeFetch is not a place for you.

Upgrading an EyeFetch Account
If you enjoy EyeFetch and would like to support this Site, you can upgrade your account to Silver or Gold Membership. Currently Silver Membership is a US$10 per year contribution, and Gold Membership is a US$25 per year contribution. While your free account limits your daily image uploads to 4 per day, this limit is increased to 8 uploads per day for Silver Members, and unlimited uploads per day for Gold Members. Your upgrade will last for one full year. To see how many days are left on your Premium Membership, you can check your profile any time, which shows the number of days left on your current Membership Level.
To upgrade your account, open your profile, and click "Upgrade Account", or click on one of the Site promotions for Account upgrades. You will then see a list of upgrade options, and the various benefits of upgrading your account, as well as an indicator of your current account level. Choose the level you would like to upgrade your account to and continue. You will be asked to agree to some legal language (we are sorry, the lawyers made us do it!), and once you agree we will forward you to PayPal's payment system which allows you to pay for your upgrade through either your credit card, electronic check, or your regular PayPal account. While we use PayPal for all our payment processing you are not required to have a PayPal account in order to upgrade your account!
Please make sure to follow the "return to EyeFetch" link in PayPal once you are done with the payment information. This will ensure that your upgrade is processed as quickly as possible. Most of the time the upgrade will be instantenous, but in some cases it may take a few hours for the payment to be confirmed. If your account is not immediately upgraded after your payment, please give us 12 hours for one of our Administrators to confirm the payment. If your account has not been upgraded within 24 hours, do not hesitate to contact us, and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
EyeFetch Privacy
At EyeFetch, your privacy is very important to us. While some information you submit to the site is meant for the public (like your username), we recognize that certain information is strictly confidential (for instance, your email address, private messages, or images in private groups) and we will do everything in our power to keep this information private. We will never sell or rent your email address or personal information to anybody, and promise to never send spam ("unsolicited emails") to you. We allow our members to subscribe to various email notifications (for instance, new contest announcements), but it will always be your choice to decide whether or not you would like to receive these emails, and you can change these subscriptions at any time.
