EyeFetch Help - Profile Questions

How do I create a Profile?

Every member of EyeFetch gets their own profile. To create your own, you will need to join EyeFetch (it's fun, easy and FREE!). If you have questions about signing up on EyeFetch, you can read find more details in our Account Help section.

How do I update my Profile Information?

To edit your profile details, open your profile by selecting "My Tools" and then "My Profile" in the "Site Navigator" menu on the left side of each screen. Within your profile you will find a link in the top headline to "Edit My Profile". Click that link, and your profile information will open for editing.

How do I change my Password?

To change your password you need to edit your profile (see above). Within your profile editor you will find a link named "Change Password" which will allow you to change your password.

How do I set my Profile (Avatar) Portrait?

Each profile has a section reserved for your portrait image (or Avatar). To set your portrait image, you must first upload an image you want to use as your avatar. You don't need to do anything special for this upload - simply upload the image as you would any other image. You can upload the image to your public portfolio, or any public group (the "Member Portraits" group is a common place to put these images). Once the image has been uploaded, note the ImageID for the image. You can find the ImageID on the Image details page, as well as in your portfolio management tools (and it is also shown the image upload success screen). Note that number somewhere and return to your profile. Now click the "Update My Portrait" link, and enter the ImageID into the pop-up that appears. And you're done! You can also remove your portrait any time by clicking the "Remove Portrait" link.

How do I find a specific artist?

To search for EyeFetch members click on the "Members" link in the "Site Navigator" menu on the left side of each screen, or simply click here to open the Member Browser. In the bottom section of the Member Browser you can find an input box to search for a member. Enter the username of the member you would like to find, and click the "Go" button right next to the input box.

How do I browse images from a single artist?

On top of the profile page for each member you will find a number of tabs to browse various sections of the artist's profile:
"All Images" lets you browse all public portfolio images uploaded by this artist. In the headline section you will find links to sort the images by various methods.
"PhotoBlog Images" lets you browse all public PhotoBlog images uploaded by this artist. Note that the artist may have chosen not to share some of the images in the PhotoBlog with the EyeFetch community. Those images can only be seen by visiting the Photoblog directly.
"Contest Images" lets you see all contest images entered by the artist. Contest images will only show for completed contests (i.e. after voting has been completed). The list contains contest images from Site Contests as well as Group contests.

At EyeFetch, your privacy is very important to us. While some information you submit to the site is meant for the public (like your username), we recognize that certain information is strictly confidential (for instance, your email address, private messages, or images in private groups) and we will do everything in our power to keep this information private. We will never sell or rent your email address or personal information to anybody, and promise to never send spam ("unsolicited emails") to you. We allow our members to subscribe to various email notifications (for instance, new contest announcements), but it will always be your choice to decide whether or not you would like to receive these emails, and you can change these subscriptions at any time.
