Photographer's Notes
I was intrigued by these two animals. I have never seen a giraffe sitting before, and I definitely have never seen one cuddling with an ostrich. Thanks for all comments and suggestions. Full screen please.

I'm not sure how I missed this one, but better late than never :o)

This would definitely have caught my eye, too! It certain seems an unusual sight, and a rather touching one as well. There is a message here for all EF members -- we CAN get along if we just agree to disagree. Perhaps the ostrich and giraffe have little in common. Perhaps they have very little to talk about. But still, they have found "common ground" enough to occupy the same space peacefully. This shot goes far deeper than the depiction. Good job.

What an amazing capture you have here. I cannot believe you have not received any awards. I have never seen a giraffe and ostrich together. They look like soul mates looking out over the water.
