I accidently came across your amazingly detailed photo and just now signed up as a member so I could comment to you how impressed I am with it! The one I photographed had unfortunatly been hit by a car and was dead. It's just amazing that this one allowed you to get so close and held so still for you!

I'm always amazed at those who can get such a closeup of such a small creature, and capture it with such clarity!! And the colors are awesome! The eyes look as if they have a mesh screen over them! Hey, I didn't know these guys grew beards-look at all that hair on the face--what detail!!! I can certainly see why this is on the top 100 eyerank list, and getting really close to #1!!
