CAIRNS, Australia - Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and conservationist known as the "Crocodile Hunter," was killed Monday by a stingray while filming off the Great Barrier Reef. The world has lost a great man. A man that lived his dreams.
I am shocked. What a wonderful tribue. May he rest in peace.

I realize that this was done some time ago but, my husband and I really loved Steve Irwin. Watched him all the time. We both cryed when we heard the news. Its a huge loss for many.

I was very saddend by this death. His family suffered so much. It has been awhile now and it is so wonderful how Bindy has continued his direction. She is a remarkable child. Beautiful flower tribute.

I have obviously come upon this quite a time after his death, I am not sure many in this world with a TV wouldn't know who this boisterous and life loving man was...I have seen interviews of late with his daughter and wife, and it is clear that he lives on in an 8yr old little girl...the anmimal kindom has lost a true advocate and we have lost a revered educator....a fitting tribute...Maggie
