MERILYN Abbotsford 5/9/2008 11:25:26 AM | Excellent site, the fellow is just a bit long winded but really shows you how to do things. He is a bit quick so you might have to watch it a couple of times to pick it all up. |

Musik13 Odessa, Texas 8/4/2008 10:46:34 AM | I had the opportunity last year for the school to pay my way to one of his workshops in Dallas. It was well worth their money, because Bert was AWESOME! It wasn't hands on, but I couldn't write fast enough to take really good notes. His layering techniques are unbelievable. He re-uses every drawing he's ever done, apparently, so that something that takes him a month to start & finish can be re-used in other drawings. When I first saw his train scene, I thought it was a digital photo because it was so detailed and the proportion was absolutely spot-on! If he ever comes to do a workshop near you, the travel cost is well worth it. |
