Contest Rules - 3D Rendering

All contest entries must comply with our Terms of Use. Disqualifications are based on the interpretation of these rules by the Eyefetch Administrators.

Image Format

We accept all major image formats, with no limit on file size or dimensions. All submissions will be automatically resized. Thumbnails will also be generated automatically.
By submitting an image to a contest you grant EyeFetch the perpetual right to display the contest entry on its websites.

Software

You may use any rendering program(s) and image editors to create your submission.

Hardware

You may use any hardware to produce your submission. Scanners, digitizers, and motion-capture are all acceptable.

Textures / Models

You may use any models, objects, materials and textures for which you have the legal right to use (this includes content downloaded from the Internet or purchased commercially, as long as you do have right for use and publication). You may not violate copyrights of any sort!
Special effects such as particle systems, fire, water, fire, gas, translucency, radiance, displacement, etc. are not only permitted, but also encouraged.
You may apply any kind of post-rendering effects such as color correction, glares, highlights, etc, using any kind of digital editing program.

Submission Rules

By submitting an image to a contest you grant EyeFetch the perpetual right to display the contest entry on its websites.
A person may only hold a single Eyefetch account and may submit only one photograph per contest.
While copyright statements are allowed, we highly discourage their use in contests, as it affects the anonymity of the entry and hence the potential outcome of the ranking of the submitted image.

Subject Matter

The subject matter of the submitted photograph must comply with the Eyefetch Terms of Use. Additionally, the following restrictions apply:

Please keep in mind that this is a family-friendly site! Nudity is acceptable, as long as presented in a tasteful manner. Images may not contain depictions of sex or material that would be considered 'sexually pornographic' by a reasonable viewer.

Voting

A user will not be able to vote on his or her own entry.
We enforce a strict policy against fraudulent accounts and ghost ballots. Any attempt in deceiving Eyefetch or its members to unfairly influence the outcome of a contest will result in immediate ban from the site.
Any users whose voting pattern suggest an intent to unfairly disrupt the system will be excluded from contest voting, and my be banned from the site.
Submissions by any parties participating in fraudulent or deceiving actions may be removed from past or current contests.

Image Validation

Verification of the authenticity of the image rendering may be requested for any submitted entry, and must be provided by submitting requested material used to generate the final entry. This may include requests for models, scenes, objects, textures, screenshots or alternate renderings. Failure to provide the file(s) in question within 72 hours from request will result in automatic disqualification.

Contributed content used with permission. All digital photo and art copyrights belong to the original creator and may not be used without permission.
